In a rental dispute before the Dawu court, a landlord's daughter representing her parent submitted photos of water and electricity meters bearing a "Doubao AI generated" watermark. After her account of the meters shifted under questioning, she admitted forging the evidence and supplied real photos. The court ruled it forgery of important evidence and reprimanded her.
A Dainik Bhaskar investigation alleges Khandwa district won the top National Water Award and Rs 2 crore using fabricated statistics, non-existent ponds and AI-generated photographs, with only 1,714 photos uploaded for 1.29 lakh claimed works. Collector Rishabh Gupta, who received the award on November 18, said an inquiry will be held if excess funds were withdrawn.
