Granting an ex parte interim injunction, Justice Jyoti Singh of the Delhi High Court barred AI chatbot platforms and e-commerce sites from using actor Sonakshi Sinha's name, image, voice and likeness, and ordered listed URLs removed within 36 hours. Two teenage boys at a Pennsylvania school have admitted using AI tools to 'nudify' images of 48 female classmates and 12 other young acquaintances, creating at least 347 sexualized images and videos; they face juvenile sentencing. An attorney says at least 10 families intend to sue the school, which failed to notify parents or police for six months after learning of the images.
After Slovenia's Sunday election, influencer Aleksandar Repić, accredited as a journalist at the National Assembly media centre, posted an AI-processed video in which Levica co-coordinators Asta Vrečko and Luka Mesec appear to give his camera the middle finger. 'Of course it's a deepfake,' Vrečko wrote on X, calling it a new low by the far right.
